COURSE DESCRIPTION: |
This presentation examines how adverse childhood events (ACEs) have lifelong negative effects on health, wellbeing and wound healing outcomes. Learners will gain insight into the physiological and psychosocial influences of ACEs and apply a trauma‑informed approach to improve assessment and care of patients with complex wound‑healing needs. |
